All other Admissions

All other admisssions are referred to as In Year Transfers. All Leeds Schools handle their own in year applications for school places.

Step 1

Once you have decided on your preferred school/s, complete the 'In Year Common Preference Form' and return it directly to the school/s.

Step 2

Schools will write back to you to inform you whether they can offer a place.  If a school is unable to offer a place, the Admissions Team will write to you to advise of the schools in your area and any vacancies at these schools.

Please note:

Where a family has moved into the area, once a place has been offered, the child can usually start as soon as possible.

Where no house move has taken place and a child is transferring to us from a neighbouring school, they would normally start at the beginning of a term.
