As you will know, we had our long-overdue Ofsted inspection in the last week of the term! It was a big sigh of relief as we had been waiting for the call since September, but a much bigger emotion, to quote Mr Clough and Miss Wager, "Bring it on!" It was our time to show the inspector and everyone else, what a great education the children at our school have! We are not yet allowed to share any information with you about the inspection, we have to wait for the report, which takes between eighteen and thirty days to arrive. What I can say is that, since 1st September 2023, our school has been on a very rapid and rigorous journey, to make sure the children have the best primary education possible! We had a clear plan, worked swiftly and collaboratively, not leaving any stones unturned. 

I am also an incredibly lucky headteacher, because I get to work with absolutely delightful children and an incredibly talented, committed team of adults! Farsley Westroyd really is a very special and unique place! We are really looking forward to sharing the report with you and some of the comments made by the inspector about your children and their education.
