Spellings
Spellings will be set every Friday. They will be tested the following Friday. The first 5 spellings are taken from the spelling lesson we have on Friday that follows a specific spelling rule. The other 5 spellings are taken from our Year 3 spelling list of words we must spell correctly by the end of Year 3.
These spellings are also stuck in your child's spelling book that will be sent home every Friday.
Please remember to keep your child's spelling book in their book bags as we use this throughout the week.
In Year 3, we receive green points for achieving 10/10 on our spellings OR beating our score from the previous week.
We also receive green points if Miss Martin can see we have been completing our Spelling Shed homework for that week.
