Spellings for test 28.9.2026

For our test each week, we will practice a number of words which are linked by a rule or a pattern as well as a number of words which are our Year 6 'tricky' words (these are words that don't follow a set rule or pattern).

Our weekly spellings will be stuck into our spelling books so children can practice their spellings at home (the document below outlines some of the strategies we use in school to help with retention of spellings) or alternatively, children can choose to practice their spellings by playing the spelling games set for them on Spelling Shed.
