Mrs Hollingshead - Reception Class Teacher Monday - Wednesday
Mrs Hollingshead has worked at Westroyd for 8 years and in this time she has taught in Nursery, Reception and Year 1. In the more recent years Mrs Hollingshead has been teaching in Nursery so she is very excited to be in Reception again. Mrs Hollingshead has previously been the Early Years Leader at Westroyd so she has been a part of developing the Early Years setting and leading on improvements, including staff development. Her specialism is creating a welcoming learning environment that enables the best possible learning opportunities for all children. She loves to use open ended resources and follows childrens interests to lead the learning. She is very passionate about developing children’s growth mindset to grow resilient and independent learners. Mrs Hollingshead loves spending time and taking trips with her children and family. She also enjoys going out for tea, especially when it’s pizza!
