Farlsey Westroyd runs a variety of after-school clubs where children have the opportunities to further develop skills and pursue their interests outside the classroom. Our after-school clubs run weekly 3:15pm until 4:15pm.
Clubs are changed every term so that we can provide a wider variety of options and give all children the opportunity to join. Clubs are run by a combination of school staff and sometimes outside experts. Often we will put on extra sporting sessions if we have tournaments approaching.
We ask for a nominal charge to be paid for our after-school clubs, to cover staffing costs. However, we offer free places for pupils who are eligible for free school meals. Payments are to be paid via Arbor at the time of registering your child for their preferred club, to secure the place. Our clubs are really popular and if the number of children wanting to join the club exceeds the limit, a waiting list will be set up.
Parents and carers must inform the school if their child is unable to attend their club, so that we can amend our registers, and ensure our children are safe in the right place!
We ask that parents collect their children promptly at the end of the clubs.
